Hosted by Coventry's own Liam Cook, CUTV began as Hillz FM Matchday, in association with a local community radio station. Liam's first broadcast took place on Tuesday 26th January 2016, as the Red and Greens played Atherstone Town in the Birmingham Midweek Floodlit Cup. The only equipment used was a laptop and a £20 gaming headset. Since that day, the broadcasts have become bigger, bolder and better. Associations with the likes of Graham The Plumber's Merchant, Coventry Motorcycles and Scooters and Currant provided funds to improve the quality of the broadcasts and allow the use of visual highlights from August 2016. Our highlights have even graced the big screen, with CUTV's coverage regularly being used on Made In Birmingham's Jumpers For Goalposts programme in 2017.
The 2018/19 season will see more footage, more commentary and more unmissable moments than ever before, so don't miss a thing with Coventry United TV. Live commentary of every game is streamed via our YouTube channel and begins 15 minutes before kick off. Video highlights will then be uploaded to YouTube within 24 hours of the final whistle. Post match interviews and breaking news videos can also be found on YouTube. So head to youtube.com/coventryunitedtv and follow us on Twitter @CovUnitedTV to make sure the unmissable truly is unmissable.
