Two key signings for United plus two more returnDate: 27 October 2017 at 12:17 by Peter Reynolds & Liam Cook
Coventry United is proud to announce the signing of two new players this morning as we attempt to consolidate our push for promotion. In a week where we said goodbye to fans favourite Jamie Coleman, it's time to introduce you to the new recruits, and we know you won't be disappointed
Firstly there's 24 year old centre-back Matt Martin, who will bring much needed experience and strength to the Coventry United backline who have struggled to keep clean sheets this term. Martin recently spent time with Hednesford Town, as well as United's fellow MFL Premier Division side, Sporting Khalsa, and Romulus whom he joins us from. A warning for all strikers in the Midland Football League, Matt is trained as a boxer, so think twice before taking him on.
Our second signing is pacey and energetic Bobby Mosley. 21 year old Bobby joins us from Sutton Coldfield, and can play at left-back and midfield. He has international pedigree having represented the Republic of Ireland over 20 times at youth level. Mosley spent time with the Coventry City and Birmingham City academies before joining Premier Legaue side Stoke City, who sent him on loan to United Soccer League team San Antonio FC. Spells with Solihull Moors, Southport and Gloucester City followed before Bobby signed with Coventry United this week.
Both players are available for selection immediately. We wish Matt and Bobby the very best of luck here at Coventry United and we look forward to seeing them in the red shirt very soon.

Welcome back, also, to Reece Snape and Jaglit Aujla who rejoin the club from Alvis. These two players played a huge part in the U21's success last year.
