JS is OFF! COVENTRY UNITED | Brennan, Clarke and Shaw Arrive

Brennan, Clarke and Shaw Arrive

Date: 22 December 2017 at 13:10 by Liam Cook

It's a cracking chrimbo combo of signings! Coventry United are pleased to confirm the arrival of 3 new players ahead of a busy festive period.

Firstly, we’d like to welcome Dan Brennan to the club. A powerful centre-half, Brennan returns to England after some time across the pond in America. Dan knows the MFL Premier Division well, having enjoyed a successful spell with Loughborough University. He’s also tested himself at a higher level at Hednesford Town, and will be provide a stern test for any striker he faces.

Next, another addition to the Red and Greens’ defence, as Jamal Clarke signs on the dotted line. Coventry born and bred, the ex Hinckley man has been training with United for the past 2 months as he continues his recovery from a serious knee injury. But the defender is ship shape and ready to go having impressed the coaching staff enough to earn a deal .

Finally, we introduce a local starlet with a very bright future. Striker Adam Shaw signs from Rugby Borough, having bagged an incredible 38 goals in 15 appearances for the newly formed Leicestershire Senior League Division One outfit. Another local lad, Adam is quick as a hiccup and twice as annoying for any defender. Backlines beware.

All 3 players are available for the upcoming fixture at home to Coleshill Town. We wish them the best of luck and welcome Dan, Jamal and Adam to the Coventry United family.
