Coventry United Football Club tackle Sport Relief 2018
Coventry United Football Club are encouraging everyone to get involved in this year’s Sport Relief and raise some money.
Sport Relief is known for encouraging people to get fit, raise money and change lives. This year, activities will be happening all over the world during the week beginning 17th March 2018.
Last year’s donations treated over 900,000 people across Africa with anti-malarial drugs and helped more than 50,000 people in the UK living with a mental health problem.
In order to recognise this year’s successful world-wide campaign, CUFC are challenging every player to dribble a ball for one mile across the 3G pitch at Cryfield, Coventry on Saturday 17th March from 10am.
Every individual that participates will have the opportunity to be sponsored and all money will go to Sport Relief.
Coventry United’s U8’s manager Warren Cattell said:
“CUFC are really passionate about supporting such a good cause and encourage everyone around Coventry and Warwickshire to get involved and support the club in raising money for those that really need our help. We are so grateful for your continued support in all we do and would love to see you on Saturday 17th March for lots of fun and games all of the family can enjoy.”
