Long Eaton United 1-1 UnitedDate: 10 February 2019 at 12:32 by Liam Cook
A three week long weather inflicted break came to an end for Coventry United with a point at Long Eaton.
The Red and Greens' promising start failed to yield and early goal, with Blues keeper Elliot Taylor keeping Kai Williams and Joe Cairns out with impressive saves with his legs. Terry Anderson's side would take the lead in the closing seconds of the first half with a Kyle Barnett penalty, following a collision between Williams and Mason Rowley in the box.
The second half initially looked to be in United's favour, but wasted chances came back to haunt the visitors. Intense Long Eaton pressure ended with an equaliser from substitute Jacdk Duffy, his close range effort finding the net via the post, to increase the home side's unbeaten league run to 6.
