Introduction

Welcome to Coventry United Ladies

These are exciting times. With the Football Association rapidly developing and investing heavily in women's football, Coventry's highest ranked ladies team are striving to take the next step and enter the professional levels of the game, and so-far so-good - we are looking like serious contenders this term.

This could finally be our year. United have a settled and very capable squad, nurtured over many years, and enhanced with top class signings. The football is of the highest quality, and the togetherness and team spirit is something to behold.

All they need now is you. Cheer on the girls in their bid for National League success at Butts Park Arena and Daventry Town in season 2018-19. All you need to know is within these pages.

Our Plan

United have developed a rolling ten-year plan that sets the agenda for the team and the business behind it each season. Our plan drives our development activities - putting in place the structures, processes and finance to reach the F.A. Women's Super League.

That, in itself, will not guarantee success, and so we constantly strive to improve everything we do - fan engagement, pathways, facilities, training, coaching and more.

The Owners, Directors, Team Management, Supporters and Players are one. Management meetings include all departments, we operate openly and honestly with drive, commitment and energy, and leave no stone unturned in our quest for success.

Pyramid

United Ladies play in the third tier of women's football - The F.A. Women's National League (Southern Division). One promotion leads to The F.A. Women's Championship, and ultimately The F.A. Women's Super League. We are already aligned with some of the best names in the business, and share our league with the likes of Oxford United, Cardiff City and Queens Park Rangers. We came very close to promotion two years ago, just missing out to Tottenham Hotspur, and with reorganisation last season, we are now top of the league once more.

Training

We train three times a week at our training hub Warwick University.

Tuesday nights are analysis with our Head Coach Jo Potter alongside a pitch based session. Wednesday evenings are a dedicated strength and conditioning session with our Head of S&C George Farmer. Thursday evening is another pitch based session for two hours.
